The Good Doctor

The Good Doctor, by Neil Simon, is a series of hilarious scenes woven
together by a writer (or narrator), who has some striking similarities
to Anton Chekhov.
The play is a comedic challenge as well as a fun,
historic, frolic through Chekov’s previous works, all set in
19th century Russia.
There are plenty of parts for everyone (double roles for some), and
we can add or subtract scenes as time allows.
This year I am especially interested in finding a
student who would be available to assistant stage manage (or ASM)
the production instead
of acting on stage. The ASM would be in charge of helping the director
set up the space each day, take blocking notes, help with costumes
and props, and possibly design sound and lights. No previous experience
required, though attendance is crucial. Please make a special note
of this on your enrollment form and let Traci Walker Blair know in
advance as we only have room for one or two students in this position.
