Sewing- Spring 2008

Begining students will work on improving basic sewing skills with simple, fun projects that are already cut out and ready to sew. The students will start off by learning how to operate a sewing machine and specific safety measures. Next, they will progress at their own pace to make projects varying in skill level that include stuffed animals, quilts, and other fun things like clothing you can wear.

Advanced students will continue to improve their sewing skills while learning new techniques. They will learn how to pin, fold, cut, and sew projects from patterns. Patterns will be available for clothing, quilts, stuffed animals, and more. Students are also welcome to bring patterns from home.
