Focus Choir - Fall 2008

Focus Choir is open to SCDS students grades 2nd-8th.

A choir session consists of ten rehearsals leading up to one or more performances. The pieces selected for each session depends on the level of experience amongst the choir memebers. The music selection will include some or all of the following: rounds, partner songs, descants, two-part and three-part songs, and solo opportunities. Most of the music is sung with a piano accompaniment but occasionally an a cappella song may be presented.

Choir is a good place to learn and reinforce music fundamentals, increase vocal independence, and develop good tone quality and accurate pitch.
