K-3 Community Service

Students in kindergarten through 3rd grade have adopted "Little Howe" park for the entire school year, visiting the park regularly to maintain and upgrade the facilities. Some of their projects include filling in potholes in the field, planting grass seed, and hanging bird feeders. The park now has increased function and appeal for the neighborhood. Even Seattle Mayor Greg Nickles stopped by to share his appreciation for the improvements our students have contributed.
