Letters About Literature Writing Contest Thirty 7th graders wrote letters to an author of a book that had a special meaning for them and entered them in the national Library of Congress essay contest, Letters about Literature. Six SCDS 7th graders were named semifinalists from Washington State and were honored at a ceremony in Olympia on April 4. Click on the name of their entry below to read their letter.
