Lower School Technology Teacher

Position available: Lower School Technology Teacher beginning August 17, 2020

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a knowledge of Lego Robotics, beginning programming, digital/video production, and Maker Movement activities. In addition, the candidate should have experience designing creative problem-solving and inquiry-based lessons.

Responsibilities
Technology at Seattle Country Day School is an active, project-based process. The technology teacher must be able to develop and guide students through inquiry-based projects with the goal of fostering creative problem solving and design thinking. The technology teacher must also understand the ethical possibilities and pitfalls of technology, and nurture ethical thinking and behavior in each student.
